After previous concerts at Sydney Opera House, the Royal Albert Hall and Southbank Centre’s Royal Festival Hall, The Bach Choir bring their “perfect and passionate performance” (The Independent) to St Botolph’s Church. The Choir were recently heard singing at King's College on BBC Radio 3, and took part in the BBC-broadcasted Festival of Remembrance alongside Rod Stewart and Hannah Waddingham in November.
Celebrating the hallowed connection between choir and organ, The Bach Choir, Musical Director David Hill and organist Will Campbell will perform a programme of works by a stellar cast of English composers which showcase the Choir's range and power.
Works by Howells and Stanford (a previous Musical Director of The Bach Choir) feature alongside triumphant favourites like Parry’s Blest Pair of Sirens. Will Campbell's virtuosic organ playing will also be on display in a number of organ solos.
Join to hear a prized selection of choral classics, and to get closer than ever to a choir usually famed for performing with some of the world’s leading orchestras.
